Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to join a dedicated Medical/Surgical team on a 16-bed unit in Macomb, Illinois. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing direct nursing care to a varied patient population with conditions ranging from respiratory issues to postoperative recovery. Expect to interpret telemetry strips with confidence, collaborate closely with a small, supportive team, and engage in thorough charting that underscores quality patient outcomes. The environment balances hands-on patient care with opportunities to assist in outpatient infusions, making it a well-rounded and engaging assignment.
