Job Description:

Join our team as an Emergency Room Nurse at Saint Luke's Meridian Medical Center in Meridian, Idaho. This 13-week contract offers a challenging and fulfilling environment working in a Level IV Trauma ER with plans to advance to Level III. You'll handle a wide range of high-acuity cases including STEMI, strokes, trauma, and pediatric emergencies. The 12-hour night shifts provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in a busy setting where rapid assessment, stabilization, and quick thinking are crucial. This assignment is ideal for experienced ER nurses from large urban hospitals who thrive on fast-paced scenarios and collaborative care. Expect to work alongside physicians, APPs, and a dedicated team, with responsibilities including monitoring, triaging, performing procedures like EKGs and phlebotomy, and managing high-acuity patient cases. The role is uniquely positioned in a hospital with 45 beds, including trauma and psych rooms, and offers a chance to sharpen your trauma and emergency skills while making a tangible difference in patients’ lives.
