Job Description:

Join our team as a radiologic technologist on a 13-week travel contract in Bakersfield, CA, where you'll operate state-of-the-art GE and Toshiba imaging equipment. Your expertise will be essential in performing around 100 scans daily, including brain, MRCP, abdominal, pelvic, and extremity studies. This role offers the chance to experience a variety of cases in a setting with two dedicated scanners, and the opportunity to float to nearby facilities such as Mercy Southwest. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accuracy in imaging, managing EMR/PACS systems like Radnet and Merge Unity, and working alongside an in-house radiologist. The department features a team-oriented environment led by a lead tech, and you'll benefit from a comprehensive orientation conducted over at least a week. The shift is 12-hour days, providing a consistent schedule for the duration of your assignment.
