Job Description:

Join the team as a Registered Nurse in a 6-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Bossier City, Louisiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work night shifts (12-hour nights) in a collaborative environment that values expertise and professionalism. You will be responsible for managing acute care patients, including those with CVA or TIA, handling advanced skills such as CVL management, tube feedings, arterial lines, and drips like Levophed and insulin. This assignment is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of experience, particularly those who enjoy a diverse skill set and fast-paced settings. The unit has a dedicated support team, with frequent floating to stepdown and med-surg units, ensuring a variety of clinical experiences. Expect to work 36 hours weekly over the course of 13 weeks, with a schedule that includes every other weekend work, holiday coverage, and flexible rotations. No call is required, and comprehensive PPE is provided to support safe practice.
