Job Description:

Join a dedicated behavioral health team as a Registered Nurse, working in a two-floor inpatient locked unit in Winston-Salem, NC. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts on weekends only—Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—allowing you to focus on patient stabilization and crisis intervention with a variety of mental health diagnoses, including mood disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, and substance use issues. You'll be responsible for medication administration, behavior management, crisis de-escalation, and using specialized monitoring tools like ObservSmart. The role emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, with opportunities to rotate between floors and collaborate with therapy and tech teams in a comprehensive milieu. Please note, RTO is not permitted after booking, and extra requests could lead to cancellation. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses comfortable managing complex cases and performing emergent procedures in a secure environment.
