Job Description:

Join our team as a NICU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Covington, LA. This role involves providing specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting. You'll participate in deliveries, assist with neonatal transitions, manage ventilators and central lines, and perform procedures such as PICC insertions, X-rays, and blood administration. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule (6:45 pm – 7:15 am), with every-other weekend and major/minor holiday responsibilities. Attention to detail and experience with EPIC documentation are essential. This assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best outcomes for fragile newborns while experiencing the vibrant local community.
