Job Description:

Step into a travel contract supporting Interventional Radiology as a Registered Nurse in St. Louis, Missouri. This role covers adult IR procedures across body, vascular, and neuro cases on weekdays, working Monday through Friday with 10-hour days. You’ll be part of a procedural workflow where work may extend beyond the scheduled end time when cases are still in progress—so you can expect a “Backup” opportunity about once per week to stay if procedures need completion.

On-call coverage is built in: weeknight call runs Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM–7:30 AM, occurring approximately 3–4 times during the 13-week contract, and weekend coverage (Friday 6:00 PM–Monday 7:30 AM) typically appears about 1–2 weekends during the same period. There’s also an expectation to work every 5th or 6th Saturday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM as needed.

You’ll need two years of experience with critical care, such as ICU or ED background, or a strong procedural background. IR experience is not required, but independence is. BLS and ACLS are required, and you must pass a Relias EKG exam with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. EPIC charting is used, and orientation includes onboarding at the facility. Please note: no visible tattoos and facial piercings must be removed or covered.

Expect a mix of mild and shifting conditions with comfortable daytime temperatures, occasional breezes, and periods of rain. Evenings can feel cooler, especially near waterfront areas.
