Job Description:

Step into a travel contract as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in St. Louis, Missouri—supporting adult IR procedures across body, vascular, and neuro. This assignment runs Monday through Friday with 10-hour days, performing scheduled IR work and staying flexible when procedures extend beyond the standard shift. You may be asked to provide “Backup” coverage once per week to finish an in-progress case when needed.

Call coverage is integrated into the schedule: weeknight call Monday–Thursday from 1800–0730 is expected about 3–4 times during the 13-week contract, and weekend call (Friday 1800 through Monday 0730) is likely to occur 1–2 weekends during the same period. Additional weekend scheduling may include agency RN coverage every 5th or 6th Saturday from 0800–1600 as needed.

Work independently in a procedural setting where preparation, monitoring, and procedure flow matter. Two years of experience is required, with critical care experience preferred (ICU or ED) or a strong procedural background. IR experience is not required.

You’ll need BLS and ACLS, plus completion of a Relias EKG exam with interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild and pleasantly cool days with occasional warmer afternoons. Bring layers for changing conditions, as evenings can feel noticeably cooler.
