Job Description:

Join a short-term acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis, Missouri as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel contract supporting respiratory and neuro diagnostics. This assignment runs on 12-hour nights, working three shifts per week with every third weekend rotation, and requires flexibility to work some holidays. You’ll be assigned across ICUs and hospital floors, managing adult respiratory services that commonly involve mechanically ventilated patients. Expect hands-on airway management, suctioning, and ventilator troubleshooting, along with ABG interpretation as part of daily work.

As a teaching hospital, you may occasionally precept respiratory therapy students, adding a mentoring component to your shift routine. The role is designed for an RRT who is confident with ventilator management, weaning support, and delivering ordered respiratory medications and therapies using common delivery systems.

Expect mild to cool weather with occasional rain and breezy days. Evenings can feel noticeably cooler, so layering is helpful.
