Job Description:

Step into a travel CT role supporting radiology workflow with GE CT equipment at a 640-bed facility in Peoria, IL. You’ll perform basic CT scanning, bringing level 1 trauma experience and the ability to move confidently in a fast-paced setting with high acuity and high volumes. This assignment is structured around 12-hour day shifts (with scheduled start times), offering consistent, focused coverage during each week of your 20-week contract.

The CT department runs 5 CT scanners and does not require coverage of other areas. You’ll work with Epic and apply your experience with CT protocols to keep imaging moving smoothly. You’re expected to be able to start IVs and be ready to complete department orientation as needed (typically 1 week), noting that orientation hours are not counted toward guaranteed hours.

For submission, OSF requires key items including the last four (4) digits of your SSN, your clinician’s middle initial, requested time off, and an Active IL license (or confirmation the application process has been initiated). OSF is a Drug-Free Campus—plan for a negative drug screen for all panels.

Expect a mix of mild and warm days with comfortable evenings, along with occasional breezy conditions. It’s a generally pleasant time to be outdoors, with changing weather that can bring quick shifts from sunny to cloudy.
