Job Description:

Step into a MedSurg/Tele Float Pool role in Bridgeport, West Virginia, where your assignment flexes within a structured 6-unit rotation. This travel position supports a hospital-wide flow model, with the most frequent float opportunities to 6N (36 beds) and 7N (29 beds), plus potential coverage for 4N, 5S, 6S, and Critical Care (20 beds). You’ll work with telemetry patients and be expected to read and interpret strips; however, the day-to-day work is focused on staying within scope and maintaining safe, efficient rhythm interpretation rather than drip titration—no titrating required.

Shift structure is 12-hour nights (7p–7a), with every-other-weekend scheduling. You’ll report prior to shift start to receive unit assignment, typically starting from a “parent unit” and floating only as needed. Charge nurses are available on each unit; while day charge does not take patients, night charge does. Orientation includes 1–2 shifts with a preceptor, and all travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam. BLS and ACLS are required.
