Job Description:

Step into a travel contract supporting a high-volume Operating Room in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is for a surgical/procedural professional who will help keep case flow moving with set schedules and a team-based culture. You’ll work in the Main Hospital operating environment, collaborating with unit staff while handling a wide range of surgical and procedural specialties, including complex abdominal/hernia work, breast procedures, cardiovascular, colon/rectal, orthopedic/sports medicine/robotics, spine, thoracic, trauma, and more.

While each assignment follows a consistent rhythm, what makes this opportunity stand out is the breadth of procedures you’ll encounter and the steady structure of set scheduling—supported by a documentation system (Meditech) and a no-floating expectation (except rarely for COVID-related needs).

Expect four-season Kansas weather with generally pleasant springtime conditions. Days are often mild and comfortable, with occasional breezy periods and brief stretches of rain. Evening temperatures can cool down, especially after unsettled weather.
