Job Description:

Step into a travel Surgical Technologist role in the CVOR at a hospital in Ocala, Florida. This assignment is built around OR flow and case preparation—your focus will be on maintaining sterile setup, anticipating surgical team needs, and supporting a full range of cardiovascular procedures. The work includes cardiovascular cases such as CABG, open and minimally invasive valve replacement, aortic root replacement, aortic dissection workups, pericardial window, and procedures involving ECMO and Impella, as well as pacemaker/ICD implantation. You’ll also be supported by your experience across pulmonary procedures (thoracotomy/thoracoscopy and robotic lung) and vascular cases such as CEA and femoral repair.

The schedule runs 10-hour days (0545–1615) across 4 days per week, with an on-call rotation of one night week (1615–0545) and one weekend every 4th week (Fri 1615–Mon 0545). If you’re a certified CST with BLS and NBSTSA certification, and you’re ready to bring 1+ year of surgical technology experience to high-acuity cardiovascular work, this contract is your next move. (One small reminder: there should be no more than a 90-day gap in your work history.)
