Job Description:

Step into an Overnight Charge Nurse role supporting a fast-paced Level I Trauma setting in Newark, Delaware. This travel contract is built around 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week), with charge responsibility on the specified Sundays and staff role coverage on alternating Sundays. Your day-to-day will focus on coordinating the overnight flow, transitioning care responsibilities during charge hours, and partnering with the team to keep operations running smoothly across acuity areas—no block scheduling, but clear expectations for how your schedule is structured.

What makes this assignment stand out: you’ll alternate between charge and staff responsibilities every other Sunday, work within high-acuity areas as needed (with float coverage), and be joining a unit that values recent Level I Trauma experience and prior travel experience. The shift pattern includes every Fri–Sun weekend coverage, and there is no call or holiday requirement.
