Job Description:

Step into an exciting travel contract in the Surgery unit at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is ideal for a perioperative professional who can confidently support inpatient operating room activity with a strong, hands-on foundation across neuro-focused cases. You’ll be working in a setting with 13 ORs and documentation through Meditech, where your experience helps keep complex procedures running smoothly.

What makes this assignment unique is the breadth of specialties you’ll encounter, including Orthopedics, Robotics-assisted procedures, Bariatrics, Neuro, and general surgery. The unit includes a robust robotics program with three Xi Robots covering multiple service lines, plus a standout orthopedic program centered on total knees and hips and complex revisions.

Shift structure starts at 6:45 am with 12-hour days, and the unit requires BLS with CNOR preferred. Scrubs are provided.

Weather:

Expect generally comfortable conditions with a mix of mild days and cooler evenings, along with occasional breezy afternoons and the possibility of light precipitation.
