Job Description:

Step into a Cath Lab Radiology/Cardiology Contract role where your expertise helps support a full range of adult to geriatric diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll work in a Cath Lab setting covering daily procedural activity, including diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP and Impella support, and device implants. This assignment is focused and specific—no EP studies and no ablations—so your workflow stays centered on cath lab priorities and rhythm-based monitoring.

Your day shift schedule is 4x10-hour days (07:00–17:30) for 14 weeks, with every other weekend participation unless otherwise specified. You’ll be expected to obtain vitals, support EKG monitoring with rhythm interpretation (sinus node rhythms required), and assist with preferred pacemaker-related cases. The unit uses Epic (required), along with Pyxis and SBAR, and Merge (preferred). Floating is possible within the department and may include the sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South).

To be considered, you’ll need a minimum of 2 years of experience, certifications including BLS, ACLS, and RCIS with RCES or ARRT CV, and experience with GE Discovery. Experience with IABP, Impella, and CSI is required. Call is 10 call days per month, and you may be scheduled for major holidays based on assignment timing.
