Job Description:

Take your nursing expertise on the road as a Registered Professional Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Marysville, California. You’ll assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during the designated night shift, using the nursing process to develop and prescribe nursing care in alignment with the medical plan of care. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team, coordinate day-to-day care delivery, and incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning needs into your overall plan of care.

This assignment is a true team-based role—delegating parts of care to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice, while ensuring the plan stays organized and patient-focused. Nights keep you in rhythm with the quiet pace of after-hours hospital life, making this contract especially for nurses who enjoy steady workflow, focused decision-making, and working independently while staying connected to the team.
