Job Description:

Step into a travel vascular ultrasound role supporting Vascular Radiology and Cardiology within a high-acuity, teaching hospital setting. You’ll perform vascular ultrasound studies using established protocols and complete accurate documentation in Epic. This assignment follows a day shift pattern of 5x8 hours, typically running from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a varying schedule during the work week and clearly defined on-call coverage.

Weekly call is expected at a light-to-moderate frequency (weekday call 1–2 times per week, 5:30 PM–9:00 PM). Weekend coverage includes one weekend per month (Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM). You’ll generally handle 8–10 studies per tech and may float to nearby downtown or West Ashley facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will bring 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience and be comfortable working both on the unit and as part of the broader campus workflow. First-timers are accepted. BLS is required, along with a national credential such as ARRT (S) or (VS), ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT), or CCI (RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)). State licensure is not required.

Location: Charleston, South Carolina

Shift: 10 hour days (Day 5x8-Hour, 07:00 - 17:30), varying weekday schedule with weekday call (5:30 PM–9:00 PM, 1–2x/week) and 1 weekend/month on-call (Sat-Sun, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
