Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) supporting respiratory and neuro diagnostics in Durham, North Carolina. This role is built for an experienced clinician who enjoys the variety of working across patient age groups, from neonates and infants through pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You’ll work night shifts in a consistent 3x12-hour schedule, aligning your focus with the rhythms of the diagnostic services.

In this assignment, you’ll use your RRT skills in a neuro diagnostics setting, with on-call coverage and occasional floating. You’ll be expected to hold the required credentials (RRT, ACLS, and BLS) and bring at least 5 years of experience. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend, with additional on-call coverage every third shift.

First-timers are not eligible, but local travelers within 75 miles are welcome. Scrubs are black, and orientations run bi-weekly.

Expect warm days with a mix of sunshine and occasional humidity, along with cooler evenings that make night shifts feel more comfortable outdoors. Brief, light-to-moderate rain showers can happen, so having a flexible plan is helpful.
