Job Description:

Join a busy blood and marrow transplant (BMT) unit as a registered nurse providing adult inpatient care for oncology patients in Seattle, Washington. This role is based in a specialized 7NE unit environment where you’ll help meet the complex needs of BMT patients through direct, hands-on work as part of the inpatient care team.

You’ll work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating/variable schedule (3x12s), with weekends required every other rotation. The unit may also request flexibility to float to medical oncology (7NE and/or 8SA) depending on staffing needs and manager placement.

To succeed here, you’ll bring at least 2 years of oncology experience and prior experience working patient ratios in the 1:3 or 1:4 range (1:5 may be considered). Epic charting is used, and BCLS certification is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers.

A single light touch of fun: Seattle summers are made for rooftop views and coffee walks—after your shifts, the city is ready when you are.

Weather:

Expect mild, comfortable days with cool evenings and periodic light rain. Cloud cover can be common, but clear stretches are great for time outdoors.

Fun Things To Do:

  • Pike Place Market stroll

  • Chihuly Garden and Glass

  • Day trip: Space Needle & Seattle Center photo walk

  • Day trip: Mount Rainier National Park

  • Day trip: Bainbridge Island ferry + waterfront time
