Job Description:

Join our Critical Care Float Pool as a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU work, bringing your expertise to a range of intensive care settings based on staffing and acuity needs. This travel contract offers a chance to build variety without losing your ICU focus, with assignments that may include Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU floating.

On nights, you’ll work a 3x12 schedule and float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. You’ll be expected to support core ICU functions including IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management experience. If you’re comfortable adapting quickly while staying grounded in critical care standards, this is a standout role for a traveler who thrives on meaningful variety—without overcomplicating the mission.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, plus BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (required). EPIC proficiency is required, and prior travel nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Weather:

Expect a mix of cool to mild conditions, with evenings that can feel crisp and occasional cloudy days. It’s a generally comfortable time for getting out between shifts, with changing skies and regular chances for light rain.
