Job Description:

Step into a 100% digital radiography environment as an X-Ray Tech supporting inpatient, outpatient, and ER (Trauma Level 2) workflows in Shreveport, Louisiana. This travel contract runs Monday through Friday on 8-hour day shifts (7:00am to 3:30pm), with weekend rotation as part of a 2-week schedule. You’ll work with a mix of teammates across 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, and you may rotate between sites within about 15 minutes driving time (rotational coverage; you will not float first).

Equipment includes Philips, Agfa, Siemens, and Carestream digital systems, plus a GE OEC C-Arm. Your day-to-day includes general diagnostic imaging, basic fluoroscopy, and preferred surgery experience. Documentation is completed in Meditech (EMR). To be ready for the role, you’ll need ARRT and an LSRTBE state license (a temporary license is accepted) and current BLS.

Assignment structure includes 1 day of hospital orientation followed by 1–2 weeks on the unit. Call coverage is expected 3–4 days per month on 12-hour shifts. With up to 7 days of approved time off and mandatory weekly coverage requirements (work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week), you’ll settle into a schedule that’s structured from day one.
