Job Description:

Step into an ICU travel contract in Utica, New York, supporting high-acuity critical care cases across a busy 42-bed unit (Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma). This role follows a 12-hour night shift schedule with block scheduling never promised or guaranteed. You’ll be working with specialty equipment including CRRT (Prismaflex and other systems as used on the unit), IABP, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Artic Sun), handling common diagnoses such as strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro interventions (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post-stemi care, cardiogenic shock, AAA post-op, and major post-operative trauma/surgical cases.

The assignment also includes floating as needed to other units (with exclusions such as Behavioral and ER unless holding). If you’re ready to bring ICU experience—especially CRRT proficiency—and a strong fit for the unit’s priorities (including heart experience), this contract offers a focused, hands-on travel experience in a fast-paced critical care setting.

Expect cool to crisp conditions with a mix of cloudy skies and periodic rain. Mornings and evenings can feel especially chilly, so layering is helpful.
