Job Description:

Step into a travel respiratory therapist role based in Mitchell, South Dakota, supporting respiratory care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. This assignment is built around 12-hour night shifts, where you’ll deliver respiratory assessment and diagnostic/therapeutic interventions that keep cardiopulmonary care moving. You’ll use your skills across oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, airway management, and ventilator setup and monitoring—covering both non-invasive and invasive modalities.

Credentialing requirements include up-to-date Covid vaccination and flu vaccination, BLS within 6 months of employment, and South Dakota respiratory care licensure. If you’re a CRT or RRT clinician (certified/registered or eligible to be certified/registered) with strong proficiency across respiratory modalities, this 21-week contract offers a focused schedule, every-other-weekend coverage, and the chance to settle into a community while you do meaningful, hands-on work.
