Job Description:

Step into a 12-hour day shift role supporting orthopedic-focused operating room work in Fort Myers, Florida. This travel contract follows a consistent schedule with Monday, Thursday, and Friday coverage from 6:30A–7P, plus call requirements. You’ll handle OR responsibilities using Epic EMR, working in an OR setting that may require flexibility to float to other operating rooms at sister campuses as needed.

To be successful, you’ll bring 2 years of OR RN experience with strong orthopedic experience. Current BLS and ACLS are required, and call responsibilities are part of the schedule. Prior travel experience is preferred. The hiring process includes a prescreen with manager direct interview, and degree accreditation must be included on your profile (or 5 years of experience is required). A 50-mile radius rule is enforced, and your flexibility will matter.

If you’re comfortable working with Epic, meet the OR/ortho requirements, and can confidently handle call, this assignment offers a focused, hands-on travel experience with a steady day schedule.

Expect warm, humid conditions with plenty of sunshine and occasional rain showers. Light, breathable clothing usually goes a long way, especially with afternoon storms that can pop up.
