Job Description:

Join a specialized Pediatric ICU (PICU) team for a travel contract at a main campus hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. This role focuses on caring for critically ill pediatric patients and supporting advanced therapies, with exposure to epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients from infancy through young adulthood (up to 25 years). The work includes performing and interpreting EKGs, managing and supporting inotropic therapy, and participating in unit activities that demand precision during night shift coverage.

Shift structure is nights only, working three 12-hour shifts per week (12 hour nights). You will be part of a team environment where travelers are expected to maintain readiness for holiday scheduling—there is an expectation to work at least every other holiday.

To be considered, you must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty you are applying for (preferably within one location, but combined experience is accepted) and 18 months of recent pediatric experience. Orientation includes an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate; completing both assessments with an acceptable score is required. NIHHS is preferred. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required, along with a current perm Ohio license or compact state license in hand.

Weather:

Expect cool, often crisp air with a mix of cloudy days and periodic light rain. Nights can feel noticeably colder, making indoor plans especially comfortable between shifts.
