Job Description:

Step into a hands-on hospital nursing role in Oklahoma City, joining a team that needs an experienced RN for 12-hour night shifts. This contract is a great fit for a nurse who enjoys caring for a broad mix of cases—from routine needs to more complex situations—and thrives in the steady rhythm of overnight hospital coverage.

In this position, you’ll assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, monitor physiological data, document responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, and quickly reflect changes in physician orders. You’ll also administer medications as prescribed, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products, and assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed. Experience in CVICU and NICU is preferred, and Level 1 experience is required, making this assignment especially well-suited to nurses who are comfortable in high-acuity settings.

Expect to work with urgency and focus during the night shift, collaborate with physicians and support staff, and provide clear updates and guidance to patients and families throughout the hospital stay and at discharge.

Expect a mix of mild days and cool nights with occasional breezy conditions. Rain showers can pop up, so having a light layer and staying flexible is helpful.
