Job Description:

This travel assignment in Sacramento’s Cardiology Department offers a unique opportunity for experienced cath lab technologists to work in a high-acuity environment performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You will assist with TAVR, Mitraclip, and peripheral vascular cases, ensuring smooth operations in a busy cath lab with up to 3,000 cases annually. The role involves working 12-hour days during a 13-week contract, including weekend and holiday rotations, with a focus on maintaining excellent documentation in Cerner and Merge EMRs. Candidates should have prior cath lab experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and be comfortable working with complex procedures such as Impella and Shockwave. This assignment combines technical expertise with the thrill of contributing to life-saving interventions in a tertiary referral heart center.
