Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a Med Surg ICU setting in Galesburg, Illinois. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing advanced critical care to patients with diagnoses like sepsis, COPD, and post-surgical conditions. Your responsibilities include interpreting EKGs, titrating vasopressors, managing ventilators, and administering insulin drips—all within a unit equipped with new technology and electronic health records. The role offers a chance to hone ICU skills in a fast-paced environment, with floating to intermediate care as needed, and a supportive team led by in-house hospitalists. Unique features include a non-billable orientation period, a flexible call-off policy, and the opportunity to work in a well-established hospital with private rooms and a focus on patient safety and quality care.
