Job Description:

Join a busy cardiac-focused telemetry unit in Marshfield, WI, for a 13-week travel nursing assignment specializing in step-down and intermediate care. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts, providing vital care for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions such as post-cath, NSTEMIs, and pre/post CABG, alongside other general medical needs like CHF, COPD, and wounds. This role emphasizes hands-on drip management—administering medications like insulin, heparin, and nitro—while collaborating with dedicated telemetry techs. As a charge nurse, you’ll support team coordination and oversee patient monitoring, ensuring smooth unit operations. The environment offers the chance to hone your heavy cardiac experience in a supportive team, with opportunities to float to other Med/Surg floors when needed.
