Job Description:

This RRT position in the NICU and pediatric units offers a unique opportunity for respiratory therapy professionals to work within a prominent teaching hospital. The role involves providing specialized respiratory and neuro diagnostics support during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), three days a week over a 13-week contract. You'll primarily focus on pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients, ensuring precise and compassionate respiratory care. The assignment allows for floating within the scope of practice to sister facilities based on experience and facility needs, offering variety and broad clinical exposure. Certifications such as RRT, BLS, PALS, and NRP are required, with experience in epic charting and working with pediatric/neonate populations preferred. This position emphasizes scheduled on-call availability and minimal impact on your weekly commitment of 36 hours, making it a well-balanced opportunity for respiratory therapists eager to make an impactful contribution in a lively, educational environment.
