Job Description:

This neuro physical therapist contract offers the opportunity to work on the vibrant Sarasota hospital campus in Venice, Florida. The role involves providing one-on-one outpatient rehabilitation sessions for diverse neurological patients, including stroke survivors, spinal cord injury patients, and those with Parkinson's disease. Expect to conduct around eight patient sessions daily, each lasting an hour, with a strong emphasis on precision and individualized care. Prior outpatient experience is essential, and familiarity with paired vagus nerve stimulation protocols (Vivistim) and the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment will give you a notable edge. The flexible shift schedule of 8 hours per day allows for a balanced workday, with the chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' recovery journeys while enjoying a varied caseload that keeps the work engaging and rewarding.
