Job Description:

This Respiratory Therapist position in Boston offers a unique opportunity to work in neonatal and pediatric respiratory critical care within a hospital setting. The role involves operating ECMO systems, managing circuits, and responding swiftly to urgent situations—sometimes with a dose of the unpredictability that keeps the job interesting. You’ll be responsible for bedside pump setup, circuit assembly, and responding to clots, all while supporting critically ill patients. Candidates will backfill as Respiratory Therapists if ECMO support isn’t needed on certain days. Expect a mix of patient support, equipment management, and quick thinking during 12-hour rotating shifts every third weekend.
