Job Description:

Join a busy Cardiac ICU team in Weston, Wisconsin, for an exciting 13-week assignment. As a registered nurse, you'll work 12-hour night shifts in a facility known for managing complex cardiac cases including NSTEMI, post-cath recovery, and arrhythmias such as afib and chf. Expect to manage titratable drips like nitro, heparin, amiodarone, and diltiazem, often supporting patients in acute and critical phases. You'll coordinate with charge RNs, assist with telemetry monitor reading, and deliver care for patients with diagnoses such as GI bleeds, sepsis, and respiratory distress. This role is perfect for experienced RNs comfortable with management options for IV medications and capable of floating to related units if needed. The assignment includes a weekly commitment of 36 hours, with a schedule that may vary between days or nights, including some weekends and holidays. You’ll receive up to 3 days of specific unit orientation to familiarize yourself with protocols and equipment, including Cpaps, BiPaps, and GE telemetry monitors.
