Job Description:

Join a hospital-based travel nursing assignment in Oklahoma City, supporting a fast-paced level I trauma setting. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with CVICU experience who is comfortable taking charge of an assigned group of patients and delivering hands-on care from admission through the hospital stay. You’ll monitor physiological data, observe patient responses, document outcomes, and report changes in physician orders for your assigned patients. The work also includes assisting with examinations and participating in minor diagnostic procedures and treatments, as well as administering medications and initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products. You’ll collaborate with families and patients by sharing the care plan while they’re in the hospital and at discharge, coordinate referrals for patient care needs, and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.
