Job Description:

This 15-week travel RN assignment in Hilo offers the chance to provide med/surg level care to adult patients, with the potential to float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units. The schedule involves 12-hour day shifts, with flexibility to work various shifts and days as needed—no shift preference or hours are guaranteed. Expect to utilize equipment like Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes, all while coordinating care for a unit with 50 beds and a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Candidates must have at least two years of med/surg experience, current BLS certification, and Hawaii licensure by start date. No holiday RTO requests are accepted, making flexibility essential for success in this role.
