Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse offers a balanced workload with 12-hour day shifts, providing ample opportunity to experience the vibrant community of Kalamazoo, MI. You will be supporting surgical, ICU, and emergency departments, floating as needed to ensure patient needs are met. The role features a schedule of every other weekend, holiday coverage with flexibility for RTO, and a variety of responsibilities including post-surgical care, telemetry monitoring, wound management, and handling various drips and lines. Ideal candidates will have at least 1.5 years of MedSurg or PCU experience, thrive in ratios of 1:6 (or higher if needed), and hold current Michigan RN licensure, BLS (AHA), and NIH certifications. Expect a role that embraces independence, technical skill, and a little touch of rhythm in the hospital hallways.
