Job Description:

This radiology technologist position calls for a skilled professional with management or charge experience to join a busy hospital in Santa Cruz, CA. You will be responsible for performing advanced CT scans using Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners, with a focus on ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. The role involves working evening shifts that tend to be the busiest, with an average of 10-20 scans per shift. The work requires familiarity with Cerner and McKesson PACS EMR systems. Expect to float between floors, with orientation provided over 3-4 shifts, and a focus on general CT procedures. The hospital operates with a team of radiologists and support staff, using Nighthawk for night shifts. The setting provides an engaging chance to manage complex imaging while maintaining a steady routine of 8-hour days for a 13-week contract.
