Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac and medical stepdown unit in Lafayette, IN, as a Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel contract. This role involves working night shifts (6:00 pm – 6:30 am) in a fast-paced PCU setting that handles cardiac events, telemetry, and vasoactive medication management. The ideal candidate will bring at least 18 months of recent experience, be comfortable floating within scope, and possess ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Expect to participate in holidays and work varied shift lengths while providing critical care in a true ICU stepdown environment that includes heart caths, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen support. This assignment offers a mix of challenging yet rewarding patient care opportunities in a facility equipped with Cerner charting and free parking, all within a facility with 194 beds. Guaranteed hours ensure a consistent weekly schedule of 48 hours.
