Job Description:

Join the team at Deaconess IL Medical Center for a 13-week contract as a Neuro MS/TELE RN during the overnight shift. This role focuses on caring for neuro and neuro-surgical patients, including CVAs, elective back or neck surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. You'll manage a 22-bed neuro unit, providing critical assessments, administering medications, and performing specialized procedures such as NIHSS evaluations and neuro assessments. The position involves float responsibilities to adjacent medical units, requiring adaptability and competent charting with recent EPIC experience. Expect a consistent 12-hour night schedule with every other weekend and holiday shifts, and enjoy the opportunity to work with an experienced, resilient team that values strong critical thinking and efficient patient management.
