Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Shreveport, LA, for a rewarding 13-week contract. This role offers a stable schedule with 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and no weekend work. You’ll manage your own caseload across inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings, working with diverse patient populations such as spinal cord injuries, strokes, amputees, and post-surgical ortho patients. The focus is on providing hands-on therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a professional, hospital-based environment. Experienced PTAs comfortable working independently and familiar with EMR systems like EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky will find this assignment particularly engaging.
