Job Description:

This contract positions you in a busy medical-surgical unit where you'll be a vital part of patient recovery and care. You'll handle assessments, medication administration, wound care, and procedures like chest tube management or paracentesis. The role offers a chance to work with ortho, medical, surgical, and behavioral health patients, frequently switching between tasks and departments, keeping your days engaging. The environment encourages teamwork, with resources like nursing aides and secretaries to support your efforts. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday, floating to different units as needed, which adds variety and adaptability to your experience.
