Job Description:

Join a hospital in Connecticut as an Open Heart OR Surgical Tech at UConn John Dempsey Hospital. This role involves scrubbing on a variety of cases, including cardiac (CVOR preferred), orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery. The position features 10-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. You’ll assist the surgical team, prepare operating rooms, and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for complex procedures. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-respected surgical program, with the chance to float to other departments as needed, expanding your surgical experience in a vibrant care environment.
