Job Description:

Join a busy Level 1 Trauma Center as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with guaranteed weekend shifts (Fri-Sun). You’ll provide critical emergency care in a facility known for its high-volume patient load, managing complex cases including trauma, stroke, and pediatric emergencies. The unit accepts first-time travelers, offering a unique opportunity to experience a high-acuity environment with challenging patient ratios that can reach up to 8:1 during busy periods. Successful candidates will have at least 2 years of ER experience, level I trauma experience, and current certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH. Clinical skills include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, EPIC charting, and possibly managing pediatric emergencies. This role offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a vibrant, fast-paced setting while earning a weekly gross pay of approximately $1,920.24.
