Job Description:

This travel RN position in Marshfield, WI, offers an engaging 13-week assignment on a cardiac medical/surgical unit specialized in post-procedural care. You'll work 12-hour day shifts caring for patients recovering from cath lab procedures, cardiac surgeries, and managing complex arrhythmias. Your role involves titrating medications such as Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Amiodarone, while collaborating with a dedicated telemetry team that monitors non-critical patients continuously. Expect a fast-paced environment where your recent experience in a busy hospital, especially with post-cath patients and chest pain management, will shine. The department has a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio during the day, with support from nurse aides and respiratory therapists. This assignment requires familiarity with managing devices like TR bands and chest tubes, along with quick decision-making on the unit.
