Job Description:

Join the cardiac care team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in a bustling short-term acute care hospital. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you'll support invasive cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, stent placements, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, and more. Your typical shift will be 10 hours, with a schedule that includes 4 days per week, and a total duration of 13 weeks. While your primary focus will be on scheduled procedures, you'll also be on call approximately 6-9 days each month, ready to respond to cardiac emergencies around the clock. This assignment offers the chance to gain experience in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab located on East Tower 10, part of Yale New Haven Health System, and to work in a facility renowned for comprehensive cardiac care. Expect to be involved in urgent and elective interventions that directly impact patient outcomes in a high-energy hospital setting.
