Job Description:

This emergency department contract offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses ready to step into a fast-paced and varied environment. You will handle a diverse caseload including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure across both adult and pediatric populations. The schedule features 12-hour days, with floating possibilities to different units within a 64-bed ED. The role emphasizes the use of specialized equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun devices, requiring nurses to be adaptable and prepared for a broad spectrum of emergency situations. Your responsibilities will include completing patient assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality emergency care in a high-energy setting. This assignment is unique for its mix of acuity levels and the variety of age groups supported, providing a well-rounded emergency RN experience.
