Job Description:

This outpatient wound care RN role at Lewis Gale Medical Center offers a focused opportunity to work independently in an inpatient wound unit. You'll be consulting on wound care treatment plans, capturing detailed pictures and measurements, and educating patients on ostomy management. The position emphasizes autonomy, requiring an experienced WOCN nurse comfortable managing complex wounds, including difficult wound vacs and fistulas. The role follows a typical weekday schedule of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 13-week commitment and a 40-hour workweek.
