Job Description:

This travel assignment in Bridgeport, CT, offers a chance to work as a Respiratory Therapist in a fast-paced, short-term acute care hospital within the Yale New Haven Health System. You will perform respiratory diagnostics, manage ventilators including Draeger and neonatal oscillating vents, and support a variety of units from NICU to pediatric and adult wards. The role's unique aspect is the floating requirement; you'll rotate through multiple areas, including NICU and pediatric units, providing critical respiratory support during 12-hour night shifts. Previous NICU and level 2 trauma experience are essential, as well as proficiency with high-frequency vents. This is a hands-on role perfect for therapists ready to showcase their skills in a dynamic hospital environment while supporting a diverse patient population.
