Job Description:

Join a hospital-based travel nursing assignment in Oklahoma City, supporting a Level I trauma setting with CVICU experience. In this role, you’ll assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, document responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, and note changes to physician orders. You’ll monitor and record physiological data, observe patient manifestations, and intervene when necessary, while administering medications as prescribed and initiating, regulating, and monitoring intravenous infusions and blood products. You’ll also assist with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and coordinate care by making appropriate referrals and delegating tasks to support staff. The assignment includes working with patients and families as part of the care experience—sharing the care plan, explaining hospital procedures, and supporting discharge-related transition needs.
